Around half Scotland's timber is produced on the
national forest estate.
The estate is managed by Forest Enterprise Scotland (FES), which
is part of Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS).
Timber and woodfuel sales
Over one third of production is sold on the open market through
Forestry Commission's e-timber website.
