Domestic RHI Extension Confirmed
Domestic RHI Extension Confirmed
18th November 2020The Government recently confirmed the extension of the Domestic RHI to 31st March 2022, giving a further 12 months for applications under the domestic part of the scheme.
In particular, due to Covid-19 and problems accessing tradespeople or EPC assessors, this requirement has been relaxed. Now, installations with a commissioning date on or after 1 March 2019 can apply for accreditation to the Domestic RHI until 31 March 2022*.
Note that the Government have used this opportunity to make two further minor administrative amendments to the domestic RHI Regulations. This includes:
- a revision of degression triggers;
- and an update to the references in the HIES code of conduct.
